Despite first year legislative gains, Governor Cuomo is not setting an example on Campaign Finance Reform, an issue he campaigned on and offered a detailed agenda how to fix when in office. Senate Democratic candidates Robin Wilt and Mary Wilmot said they are endorsing Sen. Pedro Espada’s opponent, Gustavo Rivera.

The announcement from Wilt and Wilmot came under the banner of the New Roosevelt Initiative, spearheaded by former LG candidate Bill Samuels. The group has made ousting Espada its top priority.
